Hi All,

Last Friday (April 26th), your Varsity Boys Mustangs won their second consecutive EC League team title with a total of 121 points. The rest of the results from League Champs were as follows: FS Boys 1st Place, Varsity Girls 4th place, and JV Girls 2nd place. Here’s the condensed version of our season wrap up.

So we finished the season 22-2 record in League dual meets. Two freshmen school records felled. First record fell in our first dual meet of the season against Monta Vista, where freshman Colin Fan jumped 21′ 00″ to erase a 7 year old school record. Then at The Azusa Pacific University Meet of Champions meet on March 23rd, freshman, Varun Saraf broke a 50 year old freshman school record in the 800m with a time of 2:00.07, the old record was 2:01.9. Then just last Friday at our League Champs, Saraf improved on that record by running 1:59.75 for 2nd place in the VB 800m Final. He’s the first freshman to break 2:00 mins in all school history. The scope of Saraf’s performance is still reverberating considering how long that record stood for.

Now we move on to the SCVAL Qualifying meet which takes place this coming Friday, May 3rd at Los Gatos HS. The top 6 finishers from this meet move onto CCS Trials. Can we put these results over the announcements today for the kids. Thanks.
