The Mustangs took the lead for good in the seventh inning to capture a back-and-forth game from Saratoga by a 9-6 score on Saturday. The game was tied at six with the Mustangs batting in the top of the seventh when Michael Dixson singled to drive in two runs. The Mustangs collected seven hits. The Mustangs took an early lead in the first inning when Franklin Ngai singled on an 0-2 count in the first inning, scoring one run. Michael Dixson earned the win for the Mustangs. He tossed two innings in relief, allowing two runs, four hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Max Soria started the game for the Mustangs. He threw three and two-thirds innings, surrendering three runs, three hits, and striking out six. Ngai, Dixson, and Kyle Remahl each drove in two runs to lead the Mustangs. Ryan Perry led the Mustangs with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.
